Hello my dears!

Ahemhem, it is the last 24 hours of the Kickstarter for SPQR Blues by Klio (aka Carol Burrell, when she’s not busy being the Muse of History).

It may not surprise you to learn that I’m kiiiiiiiiind of a snob about history comics! But Klio always knocks me out. SPQR Blues is a poignant, dryly funny, and always, ALWAYS smart comic set in Herculaneum (a neighbor of Pompeii) right before that pesky volcano explodes. I have loved this comic for years and years, and I’m so happy that Klio is finally putting together a proper book collection.

The campaign has already reached full funding, but printing a book is always a “contingency funds welcome” affair. It’s safe to say that if you enjoy Family Man, you will probably dig SPQR Blues, too, so give it a look before it closes out!
