Notes: THE NOTENING

Hello my dears!
Welcome to Week Whatever It Is (three? four? I’ve had a cold.) in the six-week extravaganza that is FAMILY MAN NOTE-O-RAMA! I’m stepping away from page updates to gather materials for the print edition of Volume 2, and instead I’m updating with a mass update to the very-behind and ever-popular Notes Section.
This week, I look at pages 270-279. Topics covered include: traditional Romani gender roles and marriage rites! Canine cannibalism! How to unceremoniously dump somebody in the 18th century! And everybody’s favorite, WOLF DRAMA.
If you’ve never visited the Notes section before, now is a great time to hop on. You don’t need to read them to enjoy the story, and there are no spoilers – it’s just pure footnote-y goodness on points of historical, cultural, and natural interest from the comic.
δÏομοσ should be δÏομος. Not sure why sigma has a different form at the end of the word (at least in this font– there are others that use lunate sigma, which looks like a c both word-finally and otherwise), but there you go.
