Hello, my dears! Our Roman history lesson will continue after another interval with Ariana and Milena.
The Quadi were one of the Germanic tribes that inhabited the region we now call Moravia, and were one of Rome’s opponents in the Marcomannic wars, along with many other branches of the Suebi culture. Not much is known about them, except for what the Romans made note of, and most of that should be taken with a ligula of salt.
Ladies of Portland, take note! I’ll be a guest at Ladies Night at TFAW tonight (June 7), where I’ll be participating in a Q&A with my brilliant colleagues Leia Weathington, Joelle Jones, and Rachel Edidin. Details here!
